Vacation Bible School can sometimes have this added pressure. This overwhelming feeling that things must be fun, exciting, and have no drag to them. That if things aren’t at a certain level of excitement, everyone will be bored.

But then it hit me: God works in all ways, even in the moments we feel “bored.”

Our emotions can be all over the place a lot of the time. But with God’s help, we can learn to understand and take control before a storm occurs. God can turn anger into patience, jealousy into love, frustration into self-control, sadness into joy, and help us learn to respond with kindness first. 

God loves us at our worst, just as much as He loves us at our best. This June 15th through June 19th, kids and young adults can learn Biblical ways to positively deal with their emotions. 

Let’s strengthen ourselves together this summer!
